    Hi gregm57,

Welcome to WAF, and you've certainly come to the right place for learning and discussion about Kriegsmarine awards. You will find a wealth of information on this forum and many useful reference discussions in the pinned threads at the top of the list.

Badge value is somewhat harder to say due to subjectivity and the continually changing markets, and for that it's also useful to get in the habit of browsing the major militaria vendors on the internet as well as the WAF e-stand for any given type of badge.

If you decide to come here a lot, it may be worth your while to become an Association Member for $25 per year which allows you to upload images, access the Association Member's area and to sell items on e-stand.

As to the badge shown in your links (now uploaded from your host server), that's a somewhat controversial zinc Destroyer badge sometimes misrepresented as "Bacqueville" but now generally referred to as simply "French-made". The collecting community is split as to whether these were made in wartime or post-war and you'll see the whole debate played out in this thread:

Hope that helps to get you started.

    Best regards,
    ---Norm

        Hi,
If you need straight forward answer then IMO it is postwar made zinc Destroyer so called 'French made' by unknown postwar maker and it is missing hinge and main pin hence although some people collect them the value is very low.
        Cheers,
        Hubert
