Some very nice destroyer badges!!!
My favourite is the L/18 marked one - it's a pitty that we can't find them more often. I really would like to find one for my collection as well.

Here are two new Destroyers that I manager to add to my collection at recent Kassel show.

First one is mint tombak unmarked Deumer destroyer.

Second one is stone mint boxed Schwerin Destroyer, later tombak variant with unflawed swaz. I got it as it was found with matching blue carton and inner paper. It is the nicest example of this badge I have ever seen but unfortunately my crapy scanner cannot show it.

Hi Guys,
Two more recent dditions to my collection

First one is zinc Hobacher Destroyer marked WH on the reverse. It is type 6.8.1 in the Classification system. Makes very good impression in hand

Another Kassel catch is very interesting - it is tombak unmarked Deumer Destroyer but featuring reverse hardware typical for zinc Deumer Destroyers, like in type 5.1.4. Must be kind of transitional variant. I have never seen such before Very nice piece!

I planned to take a group photo after the fleet is completed it is after I get tombak S&L and FLL since Meybauer is impossible to find but if you wish I'll try to do it tomorrow

Fantastic find!

If I'm not mistaken your badge is in fact a mint example of the very rare DC# 5.1.4, that is to say, I believe it's actually zinc. It's only the third example I've ever seen (here are the other two). To me they looked like mint zinc badges and I presume they had a flash undercoating that allowed them to preserve their finish so nicely?

Out of curiosity, what does it look like if you place that Destroyer next to your mint zinc Deumer Minesweeper badge? (Although now that I think about it, maybe not a fair comparison since I don't think the Minesweepers had a copper flash undercoating.)
