Now that i have the pictures up i hope welcome some feedback on it. I like the clasp and the tunic but would like any input i can get on concluding they are original to each other. Given the rarity of this, its impossible not to be suspicious. I would appreciate any expertise to help me prove either way.

Don't know what to say about the honor roll clasp, but obviously the black border on rank insignia of the tunic is not period KM. Tunic looks weird, also, in every detail. Liner visible on the upper part is strange.

Can you take photo of the underside of the clasp device, of the pins beneath?

          Hello,
          Claps maybe good.
Tunic is not a KM one.
          Regards,
          Michel

I would like to see the pins on the back of the clasp.

              KM Clasp

              Hello,
The Clasp may be good, but I would also like to see the reverse. I can tell you this the tunic and clasp were not always together and I am not a big fan of the tunic.

Here are two examples from my collection and you can compare them.

              Regards,
              Jody

                Dale,

The reason we are asking about the reverse pins is due to the fact that very convincing obverse fakes have been produced over the last 10 years or so, maybe longer.

If you can carefully remove the pin from the ribbon (do not bend anything, like the pins or they will break) that is all we probably need.

For more information, go to the above pinned thread on these clasps:

                  Hey guys,
as usual i really appreciate the feedback on this. Its a bit of a blow for sure but thats what i signed up for. Here is the back of the clasp still on the ribbon but you can see the features fairly well.

Well, the honour roll clasp looks genuine and that's more valuable than the tunic anyway.

                    Best regards,
                    ---Norm

                              Gents,

I hope you don't mind, that I'm posting my (related) question here as well?
What do you think about this clasp?

                              It's from Philipp Militaria, item-no. 117373.
