      Hello,

It's either an Otto Schickle, Pforzheim or a B.H. Mayer, Pforzheim.

      Best regards,
      Tom

Hi Tom, IMO there is no sound proof that Mayer made any KM tombak awards.
        Cheers,
        Hubert

          Hi Nightstalker,

As Hubert mentioned, this is currently described as a Schickle-attributed Minesweeper based on the hardware configurations and the match to Schickle catalog with the distinctive filling flaw between the lower left arms of the swastika. It's Type 2.7.4 in the Minesweeper Classification table.

As Tom mentioned, it used to be referred to as an unmarked Mayer because Mayer (and others) acquired Schickle's leftover stock after he was forced to sell out in mid-1941, and Mayer marked at least two of them with his L/18 stamp in the pin for resale, but these are different from Mayer's own line of L/18 marked Minesweepers which have different hardware.

More discusssion on that topic here:

I enclose my two tombak Schickle Minesweepers for comparison with different hardware setups. the mint one does not have a filling flaw that Norm has mentioned but I used to have one that had.
            Cheers,
            Hubert

Here is my Schickle zincer from the same die as tombak examples and different obverse design than known zinc Mayer Minesweepers. It also features the distinctive filling flaw between the lower left arms of the swastika.

and now my two destroyers, tombak Schickle with block hinge setup (you can find them with Pforzheim P-catch as well), same as on Minesweeper posted above and Mayer zincer, again different obverse design between these two makers.
                Cheers,
                Hubert
