Favorite Kriegsmarine War Badge?

Navy badges are all really cool looking. Even the boring old minesweeper has a classy look to it. But still, at the end of the day, my money is on the HSF. Great photo editing job with those badges. Very nice.

I always thought that the mine sweeper badge was a very elegant looking badge. However, the Auxiliary Cruiser badge is pretty nice! My KM badge collection only consists of a U-Boot badge and a Mine Sweeper badge.

I have allways liked the high seas badge best.A close second for me ,is the first model eboat.

I really like the idea behind the blockade runner. The big freighter breaking the enemy chains, ah my absolutely favorite KM badge...


I see we have only 14 other connoisseurs on board, what a fine exclusive club.

As for me, an Auxiliary Cruiser Badge (especialy schwerin), though I am still desperately looking for it. The second place for me is HFS

Tim Ball, I like your photoshop pics. I know they are in the data bank of badges. Schnellboot, High Seas Fleet, and Uboat are stellar. Looking forward to seeing some others in the future.

Man, this question is like Sophie's choice...How do you choose between your children? But if I have to I can't go past the High Seas Fleet badge! I do agree with Patrick though the Aux. Cruiser is a c lose 2nd imo...in spite of the trashy viking

I have to agree. I love the Destroyers badge but the 1st pattern S-boot is a close 2nd. It is very hard to choose.

Look the S-boot is so popular it even became a postage stamp! Granted, it does look more like a 2nd pattern S-boot.
