    opinion on blockade runner

Although I think it's oké I would like some extra opinions.
I have obtained this mint Blockade runners badge in zinc and one thing that caught my eye is the dislocation of the front and revers, could the molds shifted during the proces?
    All input most welcome.

      Hi René,

      Looks very nice.
What do you mean by "dislocation of the front and reverse"? It looks normal to me?

Oh now I think I see what you mean. The wonky edge on the right side when looking at the reverse or the left side when looking at the obverse. Hm. Wonder why that is. If it was misalignment of the dies you'd expect the maker's mark to be off centre as well? More likely a fault in the trimming and finishing I would think.

        Cheers.

          Thanks Norm,

A trimming fault could be because there is also some excess material on the rim.
