Schwerin E boat badge review

Hi Guys,

I been going through some of my stuff in storage and found a few badges I picked up over the years and this is one of them. Im not really a badge collector so I just want to be sure its a good one. Looks ok to me.

I don't feel that I can give an opinion that is worth much.

Since this is an award forum and the exchange of ideas and knowledge is what makes these places great.
Here is my questions about this award.
First off, the back of the award around the boat is a deep dish cut away. That sort of gets my suspicions up. The pin retaining catch seems a bit different. (that doesn't mean too much since repairs to catches are not uncommon)
The detailing of the eagle seems really good, especially around the eye. I have a nice example of a Schwerin and I haven't seen that level of detail in my example or persons like Jody or Lubo, or other members with nice 1st model Schwerins.

Since all I can offer is my opinion, I believe that this award is a dye cast forgery. IMHO.
