Marcus, Jeff and John - thank you very much for your replys.

Yes, I noticed that the eagles feet/talons do not have very much definition - in fact they are practically non-existent, and I had attributed this feature to the fact that the seller had mentioned that the sawz had been repaired.

Unfortunately my camera did not capture it very well, but the eagles head is very well defined (the eagles mouth is frowning, kinda like on PAB badges).

When I get a scanner, I will try to get some better shots without the camera glare, and will re-post.

      take care, Al R

PS - nice badges that you guys posted

        Al,

I think you are correct, feet missing due to swaz removal and at the same time, whoever did it sanded/filed the reverse.

Your scanned images will confirm it, but this is most probably a good badge. John

Hi Al, that makes sense. The feet are gone due to the repair. In this case you have an original Juncker. best wishes,
          jeff

Thanks once again Jeff and John for the informative replys.

Now that I know that I have a Juncker, I can compare to known examples and try to further educate myself

            take care, Al R
