                  Hi all ... just to follow up on scanner vs. Digital Pictures ... take a look at the obverse that I took a nice 7MP shot of today. Hard to believe its the same badge huh?

                    Amazing technology ... I had to actually reduce the size of this picture to get it to fit within the limitations of the forum. But amazing zooming ability when you have this kind of resolution. Plus I'm a total noob to cameras as well

                      One final shot of the bridge.

                      The reason I posted these today is 2 fold. To show the difference in color and how the scanner really does badges no justice and two, what a mini-tripod can do for clear pictures ... I have the shakes terrible with cameras

                              Nothing real special or expensive. It's a SONY DSC-W7 (7.2 MP). Has a Macro feature, but the best method is to get about 8-10 inches away ... then after picture is taken, zoom in to finalize the picture details
