I am new to Kriegsmarine badges and now I have two. An early Gebrüder Wegerhoff - Lüdenscheid, and an unmarked badge that is missing it’s pin set up. Can anyone identify the maker?

Hi jayhawkhenry,
The badge on the left is a zinc Deumer (missing it’s hinge and pin). Unfortunately, the badge on the right is a known cast reproduction, based upon Deumer’s early Tombak design with a spurious GWL mark added for extra effect. (Deumer was the only manufacturer to use a different obverse design for their zinc and Tombak U-boat production.)

Hi jayhawkhenry,
Viktor Kempf is a well-known internet fraudster and peddler of fakes. He invented those “publications” with internet images and made-up prices to support his sales and was thrown off various platforms for copyright violation.
