I have been searching through threads to find out what the opinion is with regards to file marks on badges. From what i understand about production methods this wasnt really common practice.

Hand finishing was common practice. Therefore, file marks are common on badges, esp. LW, and even EKs just to name a few that come to mind instantly.

Ya thats what i was thinking too Munster. You know how you go back and look at some of your pieces later in your collecting career and wonder what was i thinking? This is one of those pieces that today i would let alone but now that i already own it i will post it for the heck of it.
