Hi guys,
Was wondering if any more information has come to light lately with regards to the "4-Rivet" GABs and who the maker might be? In the Heukemes GAB book, it is documented that one of these GABs was found directly from a vet estate with a Biedermann & Company-marked packet. Frank's book was published more than 10 years ago so I was wondering if anyone knows of any other packeted examples that have been found since with this type of GAB?
Finding a single badge in an envelope isn't much evidence at all because there is always the possibility of being switched. Only after finding 3 or 4 bags with the same badge would it start to be some good evidence as the chances get smaller and smaller that all of them were switched. As of right now, the only connection I know of is the single packet that Frank talks about in the GAB book.
And likewise, is there any other possible connections with this GAB to Biedermann?
Hopefully Jon won't mind me using his pics, its such a nice example to showcase this type of GAB.
Thanks
Tom
