                    Morning Sven,

Well based on the many enthousiastic reactions on this discovery I can only conclude that we were he only two idiots not knowing that OM made these IAB's

It for sure isn't every month that an unmarked badge can be attributed to a maker but on this Forum people are just so spoiled that they don't even recognize a great discorery when they see it

As I wrote above focus on the cut-out between rifle and swas from the reverse, you will notice that the contours of the K98 remain visible. As far as I'm aware this is a feature that only 2 original IAB's show.

Do you mean here where you can see the outline of the K98 on the reverse..

                        Hi Lynton,

Yep that's the feature to focus on. On all the other IAB's apart from these two it will just be a clean straight cut.

Where the K98 goes htrugh the wreath?
                          Thanks for all your help!!
Also please don't get me wrong,I think it's superb that an unmarked badge has bee attributed to a maker now!!!
I was too tired to finish posting last night though!!

What do you think the chances are now off finding out who the makers is,it would be exellent if at all possible!I would love to know for one!

Thanks again for your expert help,
                          Regards,Lynton.

                              Dear Philippe and Sven,

thanks for posting the pics of the other IAB with the visible K98 contours in the cut-out area. Realy nice details in those IAB´s!
                              Regards
                              Hans N

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).
