I am not sure about that mark. However, this looks like a Juncker badge to me. I am sure that Ian will put his two cents in.

Hey guy's,
As you might know I'm still searching for all info on this illustrious badge. Now I came across this one on a internetauction. It was made by Hermann Aurich/Dresden and that is a known maker for this badge. I have never had one in hand so I'm asking the experienced collecters what you think of this one?

I've seen die numbers on Assmann badges and maybe a few others. As far as value I think that this badge will stand on its own merit (value-wise) regardless of the mark. The only thing the mark will do is scare away people that only buy textbook items. And if enough of them show up with the mark then even that will become problematic. It is a nice, original badge.

Hello
Hello all,
I have also seen marks like "2" on an L/64 marked para badge, and I think this is the same "type" of mark.
Thanks.

Hi Kevin
Recently another member asked a fair price for a medalbar and severel members replied - all with the same fair price. The guy that asked the question then posted it on the E-stand at double the amount its was worth. I'm afraid this makes me reluctant to give you a fair price. But visit some of the sponsorssites look up the price and take away 1/3 of the price and there you have it
Cheers Thomas

I know I asked if the mark would take away from the value, but what price could I ask for it, if I was to sell?
