            Hi,
after I get a few more opinions, I show what the problem with my badges is. It can't be seen in the above photos.

I like Don´s badge and if yours is really the same it should also be good. Please post non-oblique shot next time showing the eagle upfront.
                Cheers, Frank

Hi Kev, I think your badge is fine? I looked at it last night and I just can't see a problem with it?

                    Cheers, Ade.

                      Hi Adrian,

no, the problem was not shown in one of the photos, the problem with this badge is it has a mark for the maker (1) Deschler & Sohn Munchen. They are not a known maker of this badge? Some people I have shown this badge to think it is war time badge, maybe post war marking? Here's one for the books.
                      Regards,
                      Kevin

Now that is interesting. Can you show the mark from straight on?
                        Thanks

Strange. I think we can say with certainty that it is not a Präsidialkanzlei-Nr.
Probably just "some" number to mark a certain batch of badges for some reason. The mark looks as if it was applied before the finish, is that right?
                              Cheers, Frank
