the infantry badges look good to me, I have to admit, I´m not keen on the GAB. It looks like a copy to me.

I got the GAB from Klaus Butschek, it was listed as unknown maker 1.31, I would imagine the number is in reference to the Heukemes book.

Hi Dave,

I tend to agree with Daniel here, both Juncker IABs looks good but the GAB is questionable.

I don't like the reverse hardware on the GAB. The badge itself looks like it might be OK with replaced hardware, that is the best case scenario. Worst case is that the entire thing is fake, but either way its definitely not 100% correct IMO.

Reverse setup with the small hinge and the catch in a recess is correct for unknown maker 1.31 in the Heukemes book. Note also the tiny cut out on the right side under the wing and swastika (on the reverse picture) also a characteristic of this maker. It only has a sloppy trimming IMO.

The GAB is, as noted, highly suspect. Interestingly enough, I was at a New England gun show recently and there were two similar GABs (one with bright silver finish, one grey zinc with no finish) out on tables. Same hardware and eagle. IMO this is a new fake.
