    Don I agree they are not the same creature the one originally posted has the sloping curved armpit feathers and contoured breast feathers .Phil the one you posted is different.

      Sorry guys, must have been sleeping, it's indeed a completely different badge, so no I don't have seen anything that matches the badge posted by Alex.

        Here is the closest I could find in my files to the piece Alex posted.Seems the catches are the difference between the two.

          Hopefully The new owner or Peter doesnt mind the use of his photo but here is the same adler notice the space between barrel and wing are the same on this as well as the one Alex posted.Also notice the leg feathers were they come to the feet are quite unique to this badge

                For what its worth it sure looks like an authentic one to me. Like Frank says though, its only a relic in that condition.

                  Hi Alex would keep my money and put it towards something in better condition. Believe me after awhile you will regret it and wished you bought something nicer,plus if you ever want to sell you will have differcult in selling a damaged award like the one you show. Hope this is of some help. I ve been there myself. All the best.
