and as far as I now his reputation is not well
That is why I ask you opinion

and my knowledge about it is very limited.

Don't really know what to think of it on the one hand I like it but on the other hand it lacks symmetry in the eagles lower wings. Difficult to tell.

Look at the rivets on the gun mount. They aren't in a straight line. I don't like this one.

Yep and if you look at the type of damage it's for sure something that is very difficult if not impossible to fake. I think you at least have to get the alloy composition exactly right to create the exact same type of zinkrot that can be found on original badges.

That's why I'm also hessitant to call this badge a fake.

I think the obverse details are very amateurish.
Given the number of years fakes have been around I think we can expect to see good zinc rot so I don't think we can go on this point alone.

As a matter of fact after some digging in my files I can but I have to admit that I never felt very confident about this badge although I put it in my OK files.

Here is the brother of Alex's badge and to make things more interesting it's marked with L/58 for Rudolf Souval, the only one I have ever seen and not a match design wise to R.S marked Heer Flak badges.

Like I wrote above I really don't know and have to go on my gut feeling. On the other hand it's not that easy to create genuine zink rot. Based upon my experience every alloy composition will reacted differently to external influences based upon what the alloy exist of. The type of zink rot on Alex's badge is typical for ground dug orininal zinkers. I still have to see the first copie that got this type of damage exactly right. But than again everything is possible I guess.

about of the lacks symmetry in the eagles lower wings
it could be seemed because the badge has the curved form
and the bottom part of an eagle is hardly higher than the gun

I don't think these badges were ever in the same factory. Notice the differences that I have highlighted. The eagle's head, the gun barrel, the acorn, the gear on the gun mount.
