Chet knows his PABs, and I can only agree with him, this is a fine original. The flattened catch is a common variation to see with these Mayer/Schickle PABs and can be found on their GABs and IABs as well.

Nice Original piece, i would snap it up as well!
The black patina of the reverse is very typical for a few mint hollow silver badges such as Schickle, P&L and S&H.Kind regards,
