Yes, the pin looks to be a replacement IMO.

These early PAB's are fantastic. I do have an observation how does the pin get replaced and why? Oddly enough I think I seen other Juncker PABs that have the straight pin, at Least I think I have. Does anyone else have a pin like this one On the Juncker? Those of you who have this type of badge are the pins weak?
