Souval ccc in gold on e-stand

I'm suspicious of anything by this particular maker and especially ccc's in gold by any maker. This one doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

The obverse details look like the >45 ones that I have. I can't comment on the back.

The yellow finish is pretty bad and it really stands out on the obverse backplate

I have had all grades of the Souval made CCC and none of them had this type of pin and catch. The Souval ones are... "rougher" or "heavier".

in the German forum, no one has a problem with the clasp

there was only discussed the gilding

I offer the clasp in order
Please substantial evidence that this is not an original ...

Yet you made no mention of the suspect gilding in your sales thread here. It is common and courteous to mention things like repairs and the like when posting an item for sale.
I don't read German, but please tell me the outcome of the gilding discussion.

Type #3 in Tom's book. The gilding looks artificial IMO.

                  cheers

Just thinking shouldnt the back plate be black also on CCC in gold?
If you see this CCC from the frontside the backplate looks like it have som gold finish on it ?

The pictures are terrible. Good photographs with a neutral background without any artificial discoloring is the only way to determine the gilding in my opinion. The wear pattern on this one looks more than odd.

                        regards Olaf
