That's interesting Dan. I'd never guessed that the "glue" would be an old wartime repair, let alone show up as a possible UV negative. Know where I can get a blacklight cheap? Never needed one, but with Halloween and some of the rank patches I have, could prove worthwhile.Comment

Actually, the blacklight should be used to check those EK boxes collectors keep snapping up. The horse-glue on originals willl probably show UV neg.Comment

Hey Dan. I traded the blacklight idea for this one. I decided (my badge now) to further re-inforce the "weak points" with a modern German superglue. I had it lying around and cost me nothing too. Anyway, works for me...
