Hey all, I have had this one in my collection for some time now and was always curious to know who the maker was. It has 100% of finish appears to be in tact on front.

Hi Shane,
This is an Assmann made zinc IAB with an absolutely unique design that also exist as a hollow buntmetall and zinc version and as a late war cast variant.
What you call the frosted finish on hinge and catch are in fact the only remains of the original finish. As a result of the better alloy quality the finish only survived on these surfaces.
