On the EK without the ribbon, the finish just looks odd. Main thing that strikes me is the little bit of "flash" from the core that appears on the inside of the beading.

You are right! I switched the pictures wehn posting them. When I posted the pictures I was rather tired. I think this is why I switched them. Thank you for your advice in this.
And for Mike: you are also right. I tried to put the back and front of one cross, but now I see I posted two different crosses. My mistake, but sharp noticed.
