                  Frans,
Your PAB is a post-war Souval piece. The hinge and catch are the give away.

Yes PAB is a souval copy and the D.R.L badge (in bronze?) looks good.

Thanks Chet and Kokstok. So the PAB is no good. But, what about the Infanterie Sturmabzeichen?

                          Hi Frans,

I think you switch the pics while posting them. The first IAB of which you show the reverse in your fourth post is a good one, the recently discussed BH Mayer variant in buntmetall.

The one in your third post with the reverse in the second post is an unknown design to me. However it doesn't set of any alarms right away. The base material reminds me a lot of the white buntmetall out of which most early "Porsche" PAB's are made. The reverse stamp looks a little crude but in general I like it.

I agree with the other guy's on the PAB.

                          KR

About the Iron Crosses: I do not like the first one posted, the second one looks ok.
                            Cheers, Frank

same feelings here - First iron cross (post #8) looks not right... second one is good..
I just cant understand why You posted "EK2 front" - post #8 and "back" in #10 post - it looks like you are trying to post front and back of one cross.. but they are different crosses...

Ps DRL is good too.. I wont say about IAB's - there are guys who knows 1000 times more then I do..
