      As suspect as the detail might look, it should always be remembered that the intensity of the detail varies a lot among originals of these badges. There are razorsharp ones and softer ones. After all, these badges were CAST.

        You are correct Frank and hopefully the weight/measurements will put this one to rest. Like I said at the beginning it could be a problem with low resolution photos and I hope that is the case. I don't like being burned with a bad badge nor seeing a fellow collector burned.

          Don't those look like weak shear marks from a die? And in cast copies these shear marks still exist but are soft?

          IMHO this is a cast copy of a badge not created from an injection method but from a die stamp.

              Please tell me why a CAST example has shear marks as from a die?

                    Just vertical marks left from the creation of the image. Possible. They are very uniform.

                          I think there will be no 100% conclusion reached in this thread. The odds are: likely good but possibly still bad. It is hard without hands on inspection to be sure with that very badge you show. Because of the lack of detail it is not one which makes you feel positive about it at an instant.
                          Keep it and make sure to show it "LIVE" to as many knowledgeable people as possible.

                            I'm sorry but I think is not an original piece for all the right thoughts said before and for some other parts that miss details, for example the end of left border at 12.

                            Would be help to have a big photo of lateral of part I circumscribed to see the " pyramide" form of svastika
