I have to agree with all of the people who believe this to be a silver flak badge. Looking at the back of the badge you can see what little silver remains. I have seen other badges like this one that had once been silver. Unfortunately I do not have medal to show that exhibits this trait. Maybe another member can provide a badge that looks bronze, but really is silver.
    I once flew in a B-17, B-24, & a B-25. Next, I want to fire an 88 round.

Its silver ...I have one that looked to have a more of a bronze look than yours due to patina/dirt and was cleaned to reveal a silver finish my photos are to big if someone wants to resize I will send them to them

Ian here our your pictures of your flak badge. Joey please compare these pictures to your flak badge and give your opinion. I think that you will see that they have the same type of finish.

Hi Eric I can see what you are saying however my badge doesnt appear to be worn on the front only on the highlights which seem to be worn through to a silver colour?.Regards Joey.
