Either they're spontaneously reproducing or I think I've come down with a bug of some kind??
Help doctor! I don't think my wallet can take it!!

      Chris,
It's the "PAB Bug" alright. It's going to chew holes in your wallet big time! Nice badges

Great pab's Chris, congratulations on these beauties, I think I see a H. Aurich, and two F&R, one unmarked and one hollow, correct me if i'm wrong.

        Best wishes. Den

Chet- Thanks, I already see the bank account dwindling.

Den-Your right, a bronze Aurich and a hollow silver F&R.
Not exactly sure who the makers of the unmarked bronze & silver are, but hopefully they be IDed one day.

                Chris,

You gotta watch those little buggers; if you leave them together in a case in the dark they WILL multiply!

I keep trying to get my Karl Wurster massive silver one and an unmarked bronze one to "breed" and make me a massive tombak small "w" version, but they just haven't taken to each other yet!

                Great PAB display!

                Regards,
                Greg

I keep hoping if I get enough of them together, one day I'll walk in the war room to find a full size Panzer Mk.III !

                    Hi Chris,

Good start all 4 of them. Arround 100 more to go and you will have a good idea about what PAB production in the III Reich was all about

                    Good Luck and happy hunting!

Chris BTW, thanks a lot for answering my question in this thread:

Seems they do exist and I'm in for some more searching for a good Bronze zinc hollow F&R.

Your not interested in a trade I suppose

PS: would you be so kind to post a nice obverse and reverse shot of it?

Only a 100 more Philippe? I think I can handle that.

Might have to pawn a few of the wifes things though, she'll never notice.

                          Hello Philippe-

Sorry I missed your last post here & I've been away & unable to check the forum.

If your refering to the top left one, I assumed it to be worn silver w/patina, having never encountered a Hollow Bronze F&R.

Let me know what you think, what a nice surprise if this is a bronze example!

                              Thanks Chris,

As far as I'm concerned this is definitely a Bronze version. Sometimes it can be difficult to tell but the best way to make sure is to look at the color of the reverse hardware since the finish was applied after it was assembled.

Compare it to the color of the set-up on this silver one.

At least now I know they exist, only problem is to find one. It's the only variant I'm still missing to complete the F&R family
