    Assmann Kupal family reunited

    Hi Guys,

After the sad news that the bad guys started to fake the Daisy PAB, some good news from PAB land. I managed to complete my first Kupal family after finding a bronze Assmann.

Think the Pics of the little beauty will do all the talking for themself. These Kupal Assmanns certainly feature in the top 5 of my personal favourites

Ok Philippe, You have reached the max allowable number of PABs that can be owned by one person. You have to stop and give the rest of us a chance.

        Great badges.

          Philippe,
Very nice! However, I have to agree with Don. How about giving the rest of us PAB junkies a break?

                  Hi Guys,

I knew you would like the little beauty.

@Chet and Don; give me a brake guys I only collect one specimen of every PAB, so al the other Kupal Assmann's out there are just waiting for you guy's to pickthem up.

@Dan, in fact I do, still looking for somebody to baby's sit the PAB's while we're on holiday

@Skipy, as long as you hang on so stubborn to one specific PAB, I won't

                      Dear Philippe,

Your bronze one has a bronze finish on top of the copper segment of the kupal, unlike mine that doesn't show any additional bronze on the front, correct?

                      Thanks,
                      Greg

                        Dear Greg,

Strange isn't it. On mine I can see the red copper color peeping through in some areas, on top of that a shiny gold coating and above that the chocolate dark brown color that covers most of the badge.

How does the reverse of your's compare to the obverse, is it void of any finish too?

Looks like Gregs has just lost all of its finish to leave the copper underneath. Still a nice unusual badge though.

                            Hi Phil,

I'll get you interested in the packets/boxes next for them all, all the different makers, LDO, designations etc What will you do when you think you've probably got them all ?

                            Skippy,

Which one is the badge you have and Phil dosen't, is that the 'bombed train' one ?

                            Kind regards,

                            Marcus

                              Dear Marcus,

Never really thought about that but I'm confident that I'll be bussy for quite some time. Skip is always to optimistic. With every new one you find it gets more difficult to find the next one.

And Marcus, Skip isn't allowed to talk about that PAB in public, we have planned a seminary behind closed doors in Stuttgart where it will be examined in detail. If you can keep a secret your welcome of course .
