New Addition - Nickel Silver Juncker PAB

    Hi guys,

Finally able to find an early Nickel Silver Juncker PAB, after searching for one for years now to go along with my early Tombak variant and solid Cupal variant. This one has plenty of patina buildup and although a good bit worn, the wear doesn't detract at all thanks to the nickel silver base metal.

For a hollow badge, I was surprised by the heavy weight and this one puts 20.0 grams on the scale. This is a good bit heavier than the ones in Phil's book, but I can't imagine this one being anything other than original.

    Here are the other dimensions:

    Ht. 60.10 mm
    Width 42.02 mm

What do you guys think, anyone else have a heavier than normal Nickel Silver Juncker PAB??

    Thanks

    Tom

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Now how do you know that Eddie??

I was very surprised to see it still available, when everything else around it was sold. Also probably why I was second-guessing myself as I was sure such an early original NS Juncker would have been sold in seconds!

Thanks for all the great comments guys, much appreciated. Daniel, your weight confirms that some of these were just a little heavier than others, probably thanks to a thicker sheet of Nickel Silver being used.

                Thanks guys.

                    Hi Tom,
That is one beautiful Panzer badge. I still have to find me one of those.

                      Tom,
One sweet badge. My NS examples weigh in at 17.45 and 18.60 I have a cut-out but no point in weighing it for obvious reasons. Nickle Silver Juncker examples are at the top of the food chain in my opinion.
