I hate to say no. I just love this badge and this is the problem with being a collector/dealer! If I were to let it go for a real world price I would have to give one of our friends here first shot.

The Euro will not be 1.28 in a year, probably.

What if the Euro drops again, to a parity of $1.00 . Not a pipe dream.

Then, what happens to the 'value' of that 6,400 Euro piece you bought ($8,000 today).

In my mind, price DEFLATION on all these items. Am I buying today at this exchange rate, NO. It makes NO sense to me.

That same badge at 6,400 Euros in one year is now 6,400 dollars when the Euro drops.

Will it drop, duhhhhhh.

.... of turning this into a currency exchange discussion, I don't think it's a given that it will go down... and stay down. Currency & market values will always fluctuate up and down, as will exchange rates. But, will the Euro go back to $.78 on the dollar? I think not. It will always be a speculative hedge-game.
