    Nice IABS.

I don't have the book on them yet, but now I'm hesitant to buy the Bronze Wiedmann I found because it doesn't have the same catch as fischers Wiedmann examples.

It doesn't have the circular base which was separately soldered? It has the standard hook loop which looks to be integral to the IAB or soldered right on as just the hook as it has a lump around it.

I'm also hesitant to post the link because last time I did that somebody bought it before me.

Did the Wiedmanns come with any other catch?

Several variations of catch, including different shaped catch plates, different catches, and directly soldered ? catches.

The only subject I'll address is the question of S&L vs. Juncker. For a long time the IAB now labeled as S&L was thought by many to have been a Juncker manufactured badge. However, Frank Heukemes spearheaded some exhaustive analysis concerning this type IAB, and the conclusion pointed to S&L having been the manufacturer.

There is some very good info about this in our data base. If you feel like taking the time, try the serch function for both S&L and Juncker(separately, of course), in this Forum, then go back about 4-7 years, and you should be able to access it.

                    Hope this helps.

Hello Bruce, as you propably know i buy the books first and then badges, i got curious if we did have a verdict on the maker though which wasnt in the book. Thanks for the tip btw, ill do some additional search, atleast now i know what to print and put beside the badge, thx everyone.
