The ribbing on most of the leaves of mine are almost U shaped, and these are totally different in design. they ...(on some leaves) do not even match to the correct areas of the oakleaves at all. Could this be a high quality ...well you know, as i looked it over, and it has so many fine differences even on canon barrell angle , details, windows, facets, veins on leaves not extending as far to the ends...that im scratchin my head wondering how this can be. These photos are old, and not very good, ill take a shot of the back for comparison of the catches.( check out the right rear cog, it has an extra spur on the one posted that started this thread). I wont be able to get the other shots till later. I do have some close ups of the leaves ill try and locate them . In the meantime , lets see what other comments pop up. Maybe we need frank to pop in for his opinion.Last edited by juoneen; 01-12-2010, 05:27 PM.

I just checked another one i have, and you are correct , this is not the same badge, upon closer examination the other one i have I got from a german vets uncle, is the same as this one. I will attempt to try and post it later , as i cant right now, but did notice the daisy is the same design as this one. Nice badge, glad you straightened me out. I wasn't aware of how many different daisy designs are out there. Does anybody know how many in number of the original daisy versions there really are made during the war? thanks K razor for your help.
