Chris, I can't comment on Littlejohn's piece as I've never seen it. We've discussed your silver BKA several times on different forums and nothing have changed in my view i.e. IMHO a BKA in conjuction with three post-45 minis is hardly relevant provenance. One more observation, I've never encountered an IAB with that awkward design. Apart from the BKA, all minis on that chain share the same chubby type of soldered ring, not really a textbook attachment for minis. I don't think I'm getting out on a limb when I venture a guess that they all come from the same producer. Btw, I think Chris Boonzaier made a good point: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...&highlight=BKA
T.K., I've been told this before and even been directed to a specific veteran's memoirs, but when I asked for details about the size, the respondent came up short. I can accept the possibility of a 9mm version (although it's not referred to in the official LDO sales-list from Nov-44), but the 16mm for wear on pin or chain, naah
cheers
Peter
