    Anti-Partisan (BKA) Mini Stickpin

I added this BKA stickpin to my BKA collection awhile ago. I know -0- about stickpins, but for the few dollars I paid I took a shot. With BKA's already a minefield I'm leaning toward a post war? Thoughts?
    I believe it's a tiny +-9mm and in a bit of a "salty" condition.
    Greatly appreciate the input!
    Greg

Peter asked about measurements. The length from the bottom of the pin to top is +-35mm
      the badge width +-13mm & it's lenght is +-16mm.
There are no MM's, but in looking through a loop it has traces of gold on the obverse. Although it probably a fake, the detail under the loop (skull, snakes etc) is amazing for such a small badge.
      Thanks,

Would have loved to see some more detail on the BKA itself and som sharper borders on the spiral of the pin. I would personally pass on this.
          Kind regards,
          Giel

Giel, have you ever seen a 16mm BKA to compare with this one? I'm still waiting for that day

            cheers

Nope, not that I can remember.

It's interesting to notice though that the higher grade PAB mini's also lack a lot of detail...
              Kind regards,
              Giel

I'll try and get better close ups. If nothing else to show detail of the badge.
I looked in several old catolgues and could not find it. In all liklyhood a phoney baloney, but cool looking mini BKA.
I'll try better close up pics.

Good point, but, I can only speak for the one pictured in Phil's book. Sure, we can accept minor differenes, but generally the minis are identical to their larger brothers. Phil's illustration comes from me and I'm not pleased with it's features at all. The wreaths of the regular and numbered versions are not the same, and I find it hard to believe the designer of the PAB 50 would use the wreath of a normal PAB. Further more, the proportions are totally off base. If we think the #PAB's are difficult, what can then be said about a mini version which never was allowed to be produced

                  cheers

These pics are as small as I can do.
                    Thanks,

Sorry I'm late to this thread. I agree with all that has been brought up. Very poor detail, not one for me. I too would REALLY like to see a true mini of this badge.

I have two mins of the badge. A stick pin, not dissimmilar, from David Littlejohn collection and a veterant aquired piece on his dress chain. This is silver.

German veterans confirmed the existence of such minis, even if, at the present day, nobody knows if the were like small badges, needle pins or chain pendents.
