As far as I know my way through BKA's I would say that the silver one is the so called massive Juncker type, which, one collector likes more than the other. Pin shows the typical Juncker tool marks, which is a good sign.
Altough the design, ageing and crisp details look very nice on the gold BKA, I have never encountered a set up like that which would put me in front of a big questionmark. I for sure would love to handle these badges once!
As a long time solid collector I think you have a story behind these Luc, can you share it with us

Yes it's a Juncker, the same as the silver one. The gilding is old bot not original pre 45 IMO as the pin sit up is post war and the gilding is on ithe pin too. There exists totaly uncut-ut rohlings of these Juncker APB's.
The silver one shown here is the first type of the Juncker APB, to me much more attractive as the hollow version, of which the dies survived the war, not of the first type.

Can you elaborate on why you think the halfhollow badge dies survived the war? Of all the halfhollow badges I have on file - not one is identical to another.
Are you aware of any massive type with provenance?

I agree the bronze one has a original look to it( I see bronze hardware and bare zinc with no finish, not silver). As far as the supposed gold I don't understand what you mean about rohlings surviving the war. Do you mean that a number of unfinished planchets(or actual zinc badges minus the hardware) survived the war? Sometime later they were finished with '57 type hardware, because original hardware somehow did not survive the war like the planchets. This whole story sounds like crap. If Juncker was wiped out in the bombing, what other Juncker badges survived to be recreated after the war? Surely these were not the only ones.Originally posted by Pieter Verbruggen View Post
