    There is an "A" in the middle of swaz on reverse. I just wonder what happened to the eagle head? Honestly, I don't like the eagle head.

      Here are the best shots straight on the back I can take. First one is enhanced no flash.

      You can see the dimpling in the obverse of the oakleaves in this shot.

                Hi Dennis,

                Thanks for the extra pics and more importantly the dimensions. Your dimensions, although a bit crude with a ruler, are almost 10% off from originals! IMO this is on the excessive side of tolerances we expect of originals and coupled with the weak obverse design, I am still skeptical of this badge.

                If this was a poor die strike on the obverse, why would the reverse not exhibit the same type of "soft" appearance? Specifically around the "A" maker mark.

                  Plastic rulers just don't cut it any more. Considering the price of badges now days people really need to spring for a decent measuring device and a digital scale.

                  Tom, note that Dennis's badge has the same die flaw on the lower left (viewer's left) of the swaz as Jeff's badge.

                    Here is the weight from a digital scale for meat and cheese It is probably accurate, but I don't know how minute in % it works. I did this in morning at the Coffee stop. It weighed out to 0.050 lbs which I calculate out to
                    22.6796 grams. Now this is minus a pin and bottom catch.
