          Hi guys,

This is a perfect example of why dimensions and a weight of the badge is important, lets see what Dennis comes up with.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

It is magnetic. I should have taken it to the general store when I went for coffee this morning. I don't have any method at home to get a precise weight. I will get that later.

                      Interesting discussion.

Dennis, does you badge has file marks like Jeff's badge?

@Markus: "I do not think this badge should be condemed to quickly", I said IMO, and if noone aswers this thread someone has to start somewhere. It's much easier posting a response later on when you can take a look at all the members their opinions first. My two cents.

Can we see a side shot of the hinge with a little bit of light?

Size on a plastic ruler appears just shy of 4.9 cm X 3.9 CM wide

Good pics never hurt either. If you look at the pics in the sales thread you cannot even see the mark.

Hinge is what I would expect to see on this type of GAB.
It also looks like there are file marks present in the marked area.
The basemetal is steel, another good sign.

A good, sharp and straight pic of the reverse would be helpful, but I still think this badge is good.
