              Silven,
Both are good badges. Does the buntmetal F&R/B.H. Mayer have some pits on the obverse? I see what appear to be tiny black dots in various places. You may want to address the beginings of zincpest on the massive zinc Wurster.

                    Silven,
Apply a coat of vaseline to the entire badge and leave it on for twenty-four hours. Then wipe it off with a soft cloth. This will make the badge look 100% better. You can apply it with a soft toothbrush or a Q-tip. Gently brush or dab the spots that show the worst effects of the zincpest. Good luck!

I think the hinge/pin/catch on the Wurster might have been repaired. Hard to tell from these shots and this maker used a ton of solder anyways. Still, two nice original badges for sure.
