    Jeff,
After a couple of reductions it's down to a little over four. Mind you, he can ask anthing he wants for it and it's ok with me. However, that is alot of money for a zincer.

Wow, I hadn't seen that one. I must be really living in the stone age. Here's what I would consider reasonable prices for PABs in good condition, even considering "internet dealer prices."

$150-$180 - regular run-of-the-mill zincers: AS in triangle, daisies, Aurich, KWM Wurster, ÜÜ, Frank & Reif, R.K., sc Steinhauer & Lück, flatbacks, Rudolf Souval.

$180-$220 - zincers maybe a little rarer or "more desirable" (subjective!): Hymmen, Hobacher, sc Juncker, pillow crimp, R.R.S., Porsche, oval crimp, 7-wheeler, GWL, Assmann.

$220 - $250 - some even "rarer" zincers (FLL 43, AWS 1942, EWE), most Buntmetall, most Cupal.

$250 - $300 - NS Porsche, Assmann Cupal in excellent condition, Friedrich Orth zinc, bronze massive Buntmetall small w Wurster.

$300 - $400 - silver hollow Buntmetall Wurster, .A.S in track zinc, Francke & Co zinc, silver massive Buntmetall small w Wurster.

Above $400 - Cupal massive Porsche, Francke & Co FCL-marked massive zinc, silver zinc EWE, A.S. in track Buntmetall, other rarities.

I didn't really mean for this to be a rarity scale, just my subjective opinion on reasonable prices. I guess my problem with current prices is that most internet dealers are through the roof and the Estand is getting that way, yet I can find PABs from most any of the categories above at local shows for $150-$200.

So am I a dinosaur with prices, or what?

      Best,
      Greg

          Greg,
I think you pulled a "Ripp van Winkle" and took a little nap.... I do very much agree with your pricing structure though. However, it is no longer reality I'am afraid.

Paying a high price for a rarity is fine, but paying a high price for something common isw foolish.

I will pay $1000 each for the FCL and FZZS marked tank badges. However, I doubt anyone will sell one to me.
