I too would love to see a real die......These people will fake anything to make a buck ! where are peoples morals ? Didn't their parents teach them anything?

ha... oh well. By trusted friend I mean somebody that if they make a mistake will give me my money back on a bad item. I did have some concerns about the "die" because I've seen genuine dies for other metal items(not badges) and all of them were round, very thick(2" or more) and of a high quality steel.

here is another original die example...this was used by the famous JR Gaunt company in England to make cap badges for the 14th(?) middlesex regiment...who earned their moniker "Die Hard" at the battle of Albuera in Spain during the napoleonic wars....notice how thick this is..it is made of very hard dense steel....
the button in the 2nd photo is a tunic button for a shoulder board to show how thick it is
