I'm off to dinner now. I'll be back later to read your thoughts. Fire away.

            Dear Don,

What exactly is that mark, do you have better pics? A zero, a G or a C in circle?
            Cheers, Frank

It is a G incused in a circular depression.

Looks like a R.R.S. to me. Obverse design looks to be a match to the "less detailed grass" R.R.S. PABs. Its very heavy compared to most other PABs, just like an R.R.S. PAB. Even the hinge and catch look to be similar types, just not crimped in like the known R.R.S. PABs.

The G is very weird and doesn't logically fit with Rudolf Richter, but they are very similar IMO.

                      Tom D.
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Oh no, not another maker Dons turned up and will be near impossible to find

Like Tom, I think the obverse is very reminisent of RRS.
Hinge is similar but catchplate is different.

Can we have a nice clear photo of that MM please Don?

Sorry guys. These are the only photos I have. I can email the original shots to someone if they want to try and clean them up.
