    Close Combat clasp for review

Sorry for poor pictures. I believe this is a R.S. silver close combat clasp. Any comments gents?

Hard to tell if it is a silver or a bronze grade with this lighting.

        Hi Mort,

Your clasp is a 3rd Pattern Rudolf Souval clasp with no crimping to the backplate. In my opinion these are leftover wartime stock completed by Souval after the war for the Souvenier trade. It uses the 2nd Pattern wartime die, but the backplate was never installed.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
