Wow interesting,I recently scored another one with a wide pin that is marked like an EK pin with a small number 20.

That's an interesting ebay photo. Here it is so we can see it after it has disapeared from ebay. What kind of uniform is that he's wearing? I have one of those buttons w/helmet and I've wondered what it was from.

            Hi,

Nice picture. The individual in the picture appears to be a member of the Stahlhelm Veterans organization. If you look at the buttons on his uniform, they have stahlhelm helmets on them, which was the symbot of the organization. Additionally, the pin is the Stahlhelm organization pin; if the helmet has an EK on it, it would denote frontline service. The swallows nest on his shoulder indicate this man served in the organizations band.

As for the Hamburg Cross it cam boxed, and in a very rare case with a silhoutte of the cross on the outside lid.

Great picture! Yup-Stahlhelm band member @ 1923-33. The medal on the lower left i believe is a Saxon vet's organization 'honor' medal for merit service to the provincial association. I'll go check Tony Colson's old notes....
Verkuilen Ager would appreciate that picture.
Amazing that it went for only 2 Euros-in the USA that would be a $25+ snap easy ...

what the bloody hell! I just clicked on my old forum link in the thread above and was directed to a pop up site? Has the WAF archive been hacked?
Also, I revise my estimates. @50,000 to the end of 1934 if sequentially awarded.

The link is from when the site was hosted on the .net address. I guess it didn't convert over to the .com one.

An old thread I know but I'm trying (and struggling) to get some opinions on a Feld-Ehrenzeichen I recently sold on the e-stand. The buyer has concerns.

Would anyone care to comment on it please?
