Good afternoon gents
My apologies for the crappy pictures (I should always use a tripod ) but... Is anybody familiar with this style of ribbon bar mounting system? It uses 2 "clip plates" with screws instead of the various pinback types we usually see and looks well made: all brass; vaulted front ribbon plate; flat back plate with tracks to secure front plate to the back plate & the 2 attachement clips/ screws.
No idea if its a less common period (or earlier) german style bar, a "re-purposed" foreign bar or just a fantasy piece made from a name plate or some other unrelated gismo?
Thanks for your help
JC
