Hi guys,
I found three, pretty nice medal bars at this weekend's MAX Show: two police bars and one Heer senior officer bar.
Thanks for looking and best regards,
Tom
Here is the first police bar. This guy would have been born no later than 1879 and was in the military by 1897. Looks like he was a career-oriented NCO but had most of his military service time prior to WW1. He was a "war participant" during WW1 but certainly in some rear-echelon/non-combatant role. And, of course, a long-serving policeman, almost certainly rating the 25-Year LS Cross immediately upon its institution date in 1938. The guy was in his sixties during WW2.
