Both occupation medals look good to me.
The Memel is a little hard to see the detail but looks good.

Nice bronze bar on the Sudetenland (october medal) too

I'm sure other's will chime in with similar favorable comments soon.

If you do a search on "memel" you should find one or two threads at least that deal with this medal and the very different opinions expressed....You will see that mine is rather different.

Hi Fran, the october medal looks good to me, however the memel medal does not appear right, the lettering on the reverse is close but not correct, closer pics of the reverse, date etc would be helpful. But i believe this to be a fake. Just my opinion.All the best.

Can someone bring me up to speed on the final outcome on this Memel medal? I am wanting to get rid of most everything that does not fit into my area of focus and would get rid of this piece...actually someone contacted me about it in the past.

I would like to know if the jury is still out on this "variant" (for lack of a better term) and how much it is worth if good or bad/questionable.
