My New Display Case

Thanks Thomas, the oak is treated with oil but after another warning I am keeping a very close eye on them. I thought they would be better out in the 'air' displayed rather than stuck in plastic envelopes locked in a humid safe ?

Hi Stan, no, I don't collect combat badges. Years ago as a kid I bought Blandford's Ribbons of Medals and Awards of the World and I guess when I restarted collecting a couple of the pages stuck in my mind and I've managed to collect most of those awards. The exceptions are the Mussert, Azad Hind, German Order, Blood Order and Spanish Next of Kin awards.

Cheers Jeff, the Africa Star (like all British WW2 stars) can only have 1 bar ... the one sewn on is the 8th Army and the loose one a 1st Army.
