Help with ordensspange no. 1

Hello all,

I need some help with this 6-ordensspange:

As I can see, the awards are the following:

EK2 ww1 - Friederic-august-medaille (1905-18) - Ehrenkreuz frontkämpfer 1914-18 - Treue diest 40 jahre (de-nazified) - Ehrenkreuz DRK - ???...

Can anyone help me with the last one..?..

The last ribbon is actually a foreign decoration and that is why it is placed last on the ribbon bar. IMO it is the Italian Commemorative Medal to the Royal House of Vittorio Emanuele III, or what the Italians call the Medaglia Ricordo della Real Casa Vittorio Emanuele III. This medal was awarded by Italy, primarily to foreigners, both civilian and military, for service rendered to the Italian Royal House. It makes sense seeing this ribbon on a German ribbon bar which also displays a German Red Cross Decoration. This guy was probably involved in some relief effort/aid to Italy for some emergency/natural disaster.

The Medal pictured below is the Vittorio Emanuele III Medal for a Unified Italy. This is not the exact same medal as the Commemorative Medal to the Royal House, although it is very similar and the ribbons were identical.

Actually this falls very much in line with my purpose with this bar as I want to place it on a white summer tunic belonging to a KM medical officer, a geschwader-arzt. I am sure his seniority would fall in with this row of awards.

Here is a picture of the Commemorative Medal of the Royal House of Vittorio Emanuele III. (This one is in miniature form.) IMO, this would be the medal that your last ribbon represents.

Azad Hind, 3. klasse - never heard of it before..??..and why should it be on this spange..??

I stumbled over this one by coincidence, but it looks very much like the band on my spange.

The ribbon is actually the Saxon red cross medal....which ties in with the social welfare 1937 type.

Alan nailed it. I never saw this Saxon Red Cross Decoration before, but now I absolutely agree. Great to learn something new.
