Ron, thanks for posting, my association membership ended last week and i can't post any pictures at the moment.

The above "Mothers Cross" (im not sure if it was actually a Mothers Cross or some sort of other membership badge of the German American Bund) has been in my collection for about a year now, it seems to have gone from you to Mike to me ;-)

                    best regards,
                    Gaston

Interesting items here in this thread, I previously had no idea that the AV produced such an array of items and that some of them are quite appealing. Thanks to everyone who posted photos here.

A bit of an overview is provided in this link.

There were summer camps set up for the youth. The Youth camps were Camp Siegfried in Yaphank, Suffolk County, New York, Camp Nordland in Suffolk County, New Jersey and the lesser known Camp Hindenburg in Grafton, Wisconsin. Here's a picture of a march in the US.

                                Apollo Jewelry

And btw Apollo Jewelry did exist. It was situated in Brooklyn and continued to manufacture until sometime in the 60's. It was a supplier to the US Military and stayed on their code lists right through the 50's and early 60's.
